The Soviet Union was very interested in Spitfire Mk.VC fighters.They were requested in March 1942.Six squadrons with 160 pilots and 700 ground personnel were expected  to arrive with WS.18 convoy on 15th April 1942.But despite Churchill's promises they did not arrive that year.only in January 1943 first of the shipped Spitfires landed at the Soviet aerodromes.One of these aircraft with the serial EP 210 is the subject of this model

On 10th February 1940, No.212 reformed at Heston to carry out strategic photographic reconnaissance duties in France working closely with the Photographic Development Unit.It was intended to have three detachments each of 3 Spitfires.No.212 was equipped with Blenheims.After flying some operational missions the detachment in France was forced to evacuate its baase on 14th June 1940 and the squadron was absorbed by the Photographic Development Unit on 18th June 1940, which was then redesignated the Photographic Reconnaissance Unit on the 8th July

An apparent reconstruction of Halifax Mkll Srs.1 W1048 was made in the beginning of 1942 by the English Electric company.On the 27th April 1942 it flew up from the Scottish airfield Kinloss to its first and at the same time last operational flight, piloted by P/O D.McIntyre, together with some other Halifaxes of 35th squadron and with airplanes of two further squadrons it went to attack the battleship Tirpitz which was anchored in Foettenfjord near Trondheim in Norway

14. VC-10 C1s were delivered to 10 Squadron between 1966 and 1967.The C1 was a variant of the civil 'Standard VC-10' fitted with the wing and more powerful engines of the 'Super Vc-10' .The C1 can carry 139 passengers in rear facing seats, eight standard pallets or up to 78 medical evacuation stretchers.The strengthened floor allowed the C1 to transport 1,000ib bombs for the Tornados GR1 force during the Gulf War

An excellent model of the Candian F-104 Starfighter jet fighter of the 1950 & 60s. The stubby, razor thin wings and powerful jet engine allowed supersonic flight to be maintained, at the cost of stability. The CF-104 was manufactured for the Canadian Air Force by Canadair under licence from Lockheed-Martin and optimized for a reconnaissance and strike role, with nuclear capability.

This model carries the classic silver or natural aluminium finish with white wings and bright red markings, intended to aid search and rescue efforts when aircraft were lost or forced to land in the arctic white-out. As usual with Hobby Master models a range of optional accessories is supplied, including landing gear or well covers and alternative cockpit canopy parts.

A superb model of the famous F-4J Phantom 2 in the colours of US Navy display and demonstration team the Blue Angels.

Hobby Master have supplied a range of optional parts, including pilot and radar officer figures, alternative open canopy and choise of landing gear or wheel well covers, allowing the model to be displayed on the ground, or in flight with wheels down if desired. The Grumman F3 represents one of the last biplanes in service as fighters with the US Navy, the last examples of this 1936 design being retired in 1943.

This colourful model represents a F3F-1 in service with USn fighter squadron VF-3, flying from USS Saratoga in April 1940. On the squadrons' strength were two notable pilots, the XO Jimmy Thach and Butch O'Hare, after whom Chicagos' airport was named!

This pre-war paint scheme features a bright yellow upper wing and silver fuselage with 'Felix & Bomb' logo, later developed into the 'Tomcatters' badge and carried through redesignation to VF-31 after WW2. Landing gear parts and a pilot figure are supplied.

The stubby Brewster Bufalo was the US Navys' first mono-wing aircraft. The design was rapidly rendered obsolete, being totally outclassed by German and Japanese carrier based aircraft. However in the hands of a pilot who understood its' ability to fly at a speed too slow for the opposing fighters to engage easily the Buffalo was a potent weapon.

This model is painted in the colours of USN squadron VMF-221, as flown by Captain William C Humberd at the Battle of Midway in June 1942. Captain Humberd received the Navy Cross for his actions, claiming one Zero and one Kate.

Features an opening cockpit canopy, movable rudder and retractable undercarriage plus optional bombs and pilot figure.

Probably no other aircraft in history has been developed in so many quite different forms for so many purposes except perhaps the Mosquito.The first Ju88's were transformed into the heavier slower and more capacious A-1 bombers which were just entwering service as WW ll began.The formidable bomb load and generally good performance were offset by inadequate defensive armament, and in the A-4 the span was increased, the bomb load and gun power substantially augmented and a basis laid for diverse further development
