Featuring the highly successful tender motor-loco drive system used on the Q1 and 9F models, fine profile wheels, the excellent Dapol motor and 40:1 gearing for smooth low-speed running. Class pioneer 70000 Britannia was the first of the British Railways' Standard locomotives introduced in 1951. The locomotive is presented in miniature painted in the fully lined brunswick green express passenger livery.
