The famous British V-bombers painted in the cold war era overall white anti flash finish - intended to protect from the effects of a nuclear explosion. Each model includes landing gear components. Wingspans - Vulcan 234mm, Victor 255mm. Vulcan B.2 XL443 was based at Scampton, Lincs. in 1963. Victor B.2 XL231 was based at Wittering, Cambs., in 1962.
Models are packaged singly in reusable retail display blister packs and in an outer plain white box. Display free standing on landing gear provided. Note that no display stands are supplied with these models as the Blue Steel missile covers the stand socket. more.. | |

The Curtiss P40 Warhawk was the primary USAAF fighter at the beginning of World War II. It was extensively exported to the Soviet Union and British Commonwealth Nations as well. The P40's most famous hour was its use by the AVG "Flying Tigers" shortly after Pearl Harbour. The victories of the AVG were one of few bright spots in those dark days when Allied forces were suffering defeat after defeat. | |
